Our Beliefs

That Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God who died for our sins and arose from the dead. (1 Corinthians 15:1-8)
3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures…

That the Bible is the inspired Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

That every person has worth as a creation of God, but that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:21-24)
22 This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God…

That the forgiveness of sins and salvation are available to those who trust Christ as Savior and Lord. (John 3:16)
16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

That those accepting Christ should repent of sin, confess their faith and be baptized into Him. (Acts 2:38)
38 Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.

That the church is the body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit and exists to save the lost and edify the saved. (Ephesians 4:1-16; 1 Corinthians 12:27)
27 Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.

That the Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts to each believer for the common good of the church (1 Corinthians 12:7-11)  7 Now to each one the manifestatioin of the Spirit is given for the common good.

That Jesus Christ will one day return to earth and reign forever as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven… the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together… to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

That God will one day dwell with his people in a new heaven and new earth (Revelation 21:1-4)  3 ...Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them.  They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.
